Privacy Policy

realQuest Tech ("I", "me") runs realquest.tech and the tools on its subdomains, including FeelGood Text. This page explains what data is collected when you use them, why, and the choices you have.
The short version
- Text you paste into FeelGood Text is processed in your browser. It is not sent to or stored on my servers.
- FeelGood Text shows ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show and measure ads.
- I use analytics to see which pages and features are used, not to identify you.
- If you email me or use a form, I only use what you send to reply or to send the update you asked for.
- I don't sell your personal data.
What I collect
Text you enter in the tools
FeelGood Text formats, validates and converts your text with code that runs in your browser. The text is not uploaded or stored by me. Your light/dark theme choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the tool remembers it. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings.
Forms and email
On realquest.tech you can send a problem or sign up to hear when a new tool ships. These forms are handled by Netlify, the host of realquest.tech, and store what you type plus your email address if you give it. I use it only to read your message, reply, or send launch updates. You can ask me to delete it at any time.
Analytics
FeelGood Text uses Zoho PageSense to understand how the tool is used, for example which pages are visited and which buttons are clicked. PageSense may set cookies and collects technical data such as your browser, device type, approximate location from your IP address, and pages viewed. realquest.tech may use Plausible Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not collect personal data.
Server logs
Like most websites, the servers that host these sites keep short-lived logs with your IP address, browser and the pages requested, to keep the service running and secure.
Advertising and cookies
FeelGood Text and realquest.tech use Google AdSense to show ads, which keeps the tools free.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you'll be asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice later.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The tools still work without them, though ads may be less relevant.

Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data I hold about you, or to object to how it is used. Email support@realquest.tech and I'll respond within 30 days.
Children
These sites are not aimed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
