Tools from real problems

realQuest Tech is a one-person studio. Every tool here starts the same way: a small, stubborn problem I kept running into in my own work. I build a fix, use it every day until it earns its place, and then open it up for everyone.

What's live

FeelGood Text takes messy text or code and gives it back clean. It formats, validates and converts JSON, YAML, XML, HTML, Markdown, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript, with clear error messages. It also has 25 everyday text tools, such as cleaning up lines, changing case, find and replace, Base64 and word count. Everything runs in your browser, so your text stays on your device.

What's next

Three more tools are in the workshop: vitalTrail, cvForge and signalBrief. Each one will ship only once I rely on it myself. You can follow along on the quest log.

House rules

1. I use it every day before you ever see it.
2. Each tool fixes one problem. No feature pile-ups.
3. Your data stays yours. No dark patterns.
4. If I stop using something, I'll say so here.

How it's paid for
